Pavitar Mann

Head of Local and Devolved Government

Pavitar has worked as a political consultant for over six years and specialises in the planning, development and devolution sectors with a focus on mixed-use schemes, the private rented sector and education. She has worked with organisations including The Peel Group, Hyde Housing and Berkeley Homes. Pavitar designs and manages bespoke political, community and media consultation programmes to support a variety of development proposals and local public affairs strategies, working from London as well as Newington’s Midlands and North offices. Pavitar is also qualified in Charrettes, an advance multi-platform consultation technique from the National Charrette Institute. 

Prior to joining Newington, Pavitar worked in consultancy for 4 years where she supported some of the country’s largest housebuilders on a wide range of schemes, from seeking strategic allocation through to individual standalone applications. She previously worked for two Labour Members of Parliament. Pavitar is currently a councillor at Slough Borough Council where she was re-elected to her third term in 2015. She is currently the Cabinet member for Regulation and Consumer Protection, having served for two years as portfolio holder for Business, Opportunities and Skills followed by three years as Education and Children Services Cabinet Member.
