Context 

In the crowded space of small business support, Newable asked Newington to help them increase awareness of their unique, “one stop shop” offering – including lending, investment, advice and property services.

Strategy 

To fully understand the areas that Newable works in, we undertook a detailed stakeholder mapping exercise, based on their core areas of interest. This allowed us to pursue a targeted engagement programme, including at party conferences, with a range of influential political figures. Our assistance with submissions to government consultations and Select Committee inquiries serves as a further avenue for helping Newable to share their experience and shape public policy.

Alongside this, we advise Newable on how best to utilise case studies and other collateral for engagement.

Change 

Through meetings, consultation responses and other engagement, Newable continue to establish positive relationships with key influencers, who have been grateful for the insight that Newable’s unique offering allows them to provide. This has included four impactful responses submitted to government consultations and Select Committee inquiries, including the Treasury’s Financing growth in innovative firms consultation. 

Newable’s media profile has also been increased across both national and sector press, securing coverage in outlets including The Sunday Times, The Evening Standard, and a range of specialist sector press.
