Mark is a former Chief Planner and Head of Regeneration, with over 25 years’ experience in local and regional government – notably covering regeneration, and housing and infrastructure development. This has seen him lead the creation and delivery of masterplans, compulsory land purchases and prominent public realm improvement schemes in North and East London. He has contributed to independent reports and reviews of Crossrail and featured in the national media on issues surrounding regeneration.

Mark has served on the Steering Group of the Future of London think tank, the London Advisory Board of CABE/The Design Council and on the management committees of housing associations. In 2012, he was appointed an Academician of the Academy of Urbanism.
