To make a relatively obscure Italian businessman into a serious player in Italian politics, Newington set out a targeted regional social media strategy to raise the profile of Maurizio Bragagni. After three months of social media activity, 1.5 million people had seen 14 million Facebook adverts, and his policies and videos had been seen 2 million times.


British Takeaway Campaign

Newington established and acts as the secretariat for the British Takeaway Campaign, an industry group seeking to change perceptions of the takeaway sector and address the challenges it faces. As part of this, Newington maintains the Twitter account of the campaign.
