Newington Associate, Tony Halmos, has been awarded the British Empire Medal for his work with the City of London Corporation and the Magna Carta celebrations. Newington Chief Executive, Mark Glover, said, “I am delighted that an Associate of Newington has been recognised in such a way for the amount of work he has put into the Magna Carta celebrations and for his twenty years plus service for the City of London Corporation. I am equally pleased that his experience and advice is now available to Newington clients. There are few who understand London politics better than Tony.”

Tony joined Newington from the City of London Corporation where he was the Director of Public Relations. Prior to this Tony was an Associate Director of Public Affairs at Hill and Knowlton.
