Newington launches digital offering

Newington launches digital offering

Whatever your audience, social media has become an essential part of any communications strategy. Indeed, research by Dell and the Social Business Journal has found that 75% of people are influenced in their buying choices by social media. But it’s not just consumers that are influenced in this way – politicians, policy makers and influencers are active across a range of social media.

Over 580 MPs are on Twitter, with many of them using it themselves, rather than having it managed by their offices (at least for reading tweets and posting the occasional reply). Policy makers and influencers can be reached on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media channels, and most organisations are using some or all of them. But how often do we get the opportunity to take a strategic look at what works and what doesn’t, or to explore the frequent changes to these platforms and the opportunities they bring?

Digital targeting allows us to place content in front of the right people. While an advert on the side of a bus is seen by everyone, targeted advertising is the digital equivalent of the bus showing a different advert to everyone who sees it. If the content is good, and the targeting is accurate, the results can be staggering.

There has of course been much in the news this week about the misuse of data in political digital advertising. For the vast majority of those in our industry who adhere to both the letter and spirit of the law, tighter regulation will be welcomed.

Our new digital team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Newington. From targeted social media advertising – which ensures your digital spend is as efficient and cost-effective as possible – to high-quality in-house graphic design, we’ve built a team that will make your campaign stand out from the crowd.

Our services include:

Web Design and Development

Whether you’re looking for a website refresh or something completely new, our team will work with you to design and develop a bespoke website that meets your needs – from simple, “out-of-the-box” designs through to full custom build.

Data Analytics

Whether it’s website visitors or social media engagement, your digital data can be complex and confusing. We can help you wade through it, identify the metrics that really matter to you and provide a strategy for getting to the people you really want to reach.

Targeted Digital Advertising

With significant experience of targeted digital advertising in the political and corporate sectors, we can help you identify your key audiences and target them with paid advertising – ensuring your key messages reach the right people at the right time.

Graphic Design

From infographics to booklets, our in-house team combines design skill, with experience in politics and public affairs – so they instinctively understand the tone and style that will have the maximum impact in Westminster and beyond.

Social Media Management

If you need high-quality, professional social media channels but don’t have the skills in-house, we can do the work for you. From managing the frequency and tone of content, to engaging with your audience, we will ensure your social media channels are the best they can be.

Content Creation

Good content matters. It’s easy to overlook its importance when creating a new website, or posting an update on Facebook. Our team can help you find your voice online, and will suggest new and innovative ways of presenting information to keep your audience engaged.
