Newington has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious title of EMEA Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year in the 2017 Holmes Report SABRE Awards. Newington's Italian partner, SEC, has also been shortlisted for Mediterranean Consultancy of the Year.

In 2016, Newington celebrated its 10th anniversary by rebranding from Bellenden to Newington with a fresh look, new website, bigger London HQ, and opening new satellite offices in Birmingham, Manchester and the East of England. Newington also enjoyed another successful year - winning 20 new clients including Just Eat, Abbvie, Octopus Investments, Peel Group and Berkeley Homes and generating fees worth more than £3 million and almost £600K of new business.
