Join our conference calls for analysis of what the election result and Queen's Speech mean for the housing sector
Following the General Election and the Queen's Speech, Newington will be hosting sector-specific conference calls to offer in-depth analysis of what they mean for key policy areas.
Friday 30 June at 1pm: what does the General Election result mean for housing policy?
In the wake of the General Election, a buoyant Labour Party will put pressure on the Conservatives to give clarity to their legislative priorities as set out in the Queen's Speech. Under Theresa May, the weakened Tories will need to build consensus to deliver on their plans set out in the Housing White Paper. Newington Managing Director Phil Briscoe and Associate Director Pav Man will reflect on these issues alongside the impact of Labour's stronger than expected showing and, as the last week has shown, just how fast moving this sector can be.
